JOHANNESBURG - The Basic Education Department will block matric results of all pupils involved in exam irregularities.
There were reports of copying in provinces like KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.

But Umalusi approved the 2023 results, saying copying did not undermine the credibility of the exams.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced the results on Thursday.
"In respect to irregularities, the DBE is required to block results of all candidates implicated in irregularities," the minister said.
