DURBAN - More than 60 alleged instigators charged in connection with the 2021 July unrest are expected to appear before the Durban High Court on Tuesday.
They were arrested in various parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
The accused have previously appeared before the magistrate's court in Durban and their case was moved to the high court.
They were initially charged with conspiracy to commit public violence and incitement to commit public violence
During their last appearance in December, the State added charges of terrorism, sedition, and conspiracy to commit murder.
In August, the court sentenced brothers Dylan and Ned Govender to seven years in prison for their involvement in the unrest.
