Mayoral shake-up in Nelson Mandela Bay
GQEBERHA - ANC Regional chairperson Babalwa Lobishe has been elected Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.
That's following the resignation of National Alliance leader Gary Van Niekerk, who takes up the deputy mayoral position.

The two were elected unopposed.
ANC is in coalition with six other parties in the government of local unity. Lobishe says her key mandate is to stabilise the government in the metro.
