WATCH | Infection outbreaks in hospitals a concern for Health Minister

JOHANNESBURG - Health Minister Joe Phaahla is worried about rising infections at Gauteng hospitals due to the water crisis.

Rahima Moosa, Helen Joseph and Pholosong hospitals suffered extended outages.

It followed a breakdown of the Zuikerbosch treatment plant after a power failure.

Phaahla says his department will be prioritising funds to help with water storage infrastructure.
