WATCH | High waves pummel Cape coast

CAPE TOWN - Residents of Gordons Bay, Harold's Bay, and Kalk Bay along the Cape Coast are counting the cost of the destruction caused by the Spring high tide.

Properties, cars, and businesses were damaged by excessive wave movement and strong winds over the weekend.

A 93-year-old woman died when she was swept off by waves and one person was injured.
