CAPE TOWN - The South African Weather Service is warning of above-normal temperatures during the summer months.
Hot, dry, and windy weather conditions are to be expected throughout.
Cape Town officials say their fire and rescue services have been boosted,
to respond to the fire season in the Western Cape.
The city's safety and security portfolio says it has invested about R27m.
