CAPE TOWN - Residents of the Western Cape will have to endure a week of adverse weather conditions.

Relief is only expected on Sunday and Monday next week before another cold front makes landfall.

A Level 6 warning for strong winds, waves and storm surges has been issued for areas along the city's coastline.

Disaster Management authorities are bracing for a busy few days of heavy rainfall, that has already left a trail of devastation over the weekend.
