JOHANNESBURG - A warning shot has been fired at the ruling African National Congress by economist and independent political analyst, Moeletsi Mbeki.
He says the party will most likely lose its majority and it has no one to blame but itself.

Mbeki says the ANC has alienated parts of the population and created a stagnant economy.
He says its mistakes will cost it dearly in this year's election - but the party's bad policy decisions will continue to strangle the country long after it loses its majority.
