JOHANNESBURG - Over 2,000 workers have emerged from underground at the Implats Royal Bafokeng Rasemoni mine in Rustenburg.

Many say hunger forced them to resurface.

They had downed tools on Monday morning and staged a sit-in, to demand that pension funds and share dividends be paid into their accounts.
