JOHANNESBURG - Energy and Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the Democratic Alliance has the right to challenge the government’s plan to procure 2500 megawatts of nuclear power.

He was responding to the DA’s legal challenge of a decision by the National Energy Regulator to approve the nuclear plan.

Addressing the media, Ramokgopa said although the nuclear plan still requires approval from the National Treasury, it is not going away.
