HARARE - Former Olympic swimmer Kirsty Coventry is being celebrated in Zimbabwe.
She has made history by becoming the first female president of the IOC and the first African elected to the position.

The Zimbabwean government has showered her with lavish praise, saying she is put the country on top of the world.
Coventry is currently Zimbabwe's Sports Minister and is expected back in Harare on Sunday.
