JOHANNESBURG - The new Spar Proteas era has begun.
On Wednesday, Netball SA announced the appointment of Jenny van Dyk as the senior team's head coach.

Former Proteas captain Zanele Mdodana has been roped in as van Dyk's second in command.
Van Dyk is the most decorated coach in South African domestic netball, boasting a record five Telkom Netball League titles and several national championships with Tuks' netball team.

The new mentor has been tasked with successfully leading the country into the 2027 Netball World Cup, among her other assignments.
