URC | Zebre secure rare win at Sharks’ expense

ROME - The Sharks' slow start to the United Rugby Championship continues.

The men from Durban were defeated by fellow strugglers Zebre in Italy.

It had looked promising for the Sharks at one stage.

A superb sequence saw Cameron Wright score an early try for the visitors.

The Sharks led 10 - 6 at the break but then had Aphelele Fassi yellow-carded in the second half.

Zebre used their one-man advantage to kick two penalties and go into the lead.

The Sharks' hopes of victory ended when Hyron Andrews was red carded late on.

Zebre held on to win 12 - 10, their first victory of the season.

It's a fourth straight loss for the Sharks in this UR season.
