JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana coach, Hugo Broos, is not happy ahead of the 2026
FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, against Lesotho and Benin.
The Belgian slammed Orlando Pirates’ handling of the Patrick Maswanganyi injury.
The Pirates midfielder was injured during training, as he missed out on Bucs’ clash with Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
He also couldn’t travel with the national team to Polokwane, where they will play Lesotho this Friday, before heading to Côte d'Ivoire, where they will play Benin.
Broos says he was only informed of Maswanganyi’s situation late Sunday.
Polokwane City midfielder, Rodney Maphangule has since been brought in as a replacement for ‘Tito’.
