JOHANNESBURG - SA Rugby has given feedback on its internal audit.
The organisation is pleased with its Strategic Transformation Development Plan 2030 (STDP 2030).
SA Rugby President Mark Alexander says provincial unions all showed massive commitment and passed their self-determined targets.
The Strategic Transformation Development Plan 2030 encompasses all areas of rugby, including operations such as procurement, governance, staffing, committees and team demographics.
The report comes in the wake of Sports Minister Zizi Kodwa voicing his concern about SA Rugby appointing the company owned by the son of SA Rugby CEO Rian Oberholzer.
It is tasked with facilitating World Rugby tournaments to be hosted in the country.
On the other hand, Alexander believes the Springbok team has contributed positively to social cohesion in the country.
