JOHANNESBURG - Springbok hopeful Elton Jantjies finds himself in more controversy.
Jantjies faces the prospect of a long ban, after admitting that he has tested positive for a banned substance.
A urine sample the fly-half submitted in June, showed the presence of a drug that helps to burn fat and increase stamina.
Jantjies has asked for his B-sample to be tested and denies knowingly doping.
The pivot is still recovering from the public embarrassment he suffered late last year, when he was released from the Springbok squad amid reports of him having an affair.
SA Rugby confirmed the failed drug test and will let the Rugby law run its course.
