Royal AM back on the market

JOHANNESBURG - Royal AM is reportedly back on sale after a deal fell through.

Bid winner Global Investments has failed to come with the money to buy the club.

According to latest reports, the company could not make the required payments, within three days of notification, leading to the collapse of the deal.

The sale is reportedly in the region of R20-million between the SARS curator and Global Investments, owned by Durban’s Moodley family.

Thwihli-Thwahla have since been put under the curatorship of Jaco Venter by SARS.

It was was seized from owner Shauwn Mkhize, because of a R40 million tax debt.
