PSL charges Chiefs for supporters' misconduct

JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs have been charged by the League’s Disciplinary Committee over their fans misconduct.

The incident took place at FNB Stadium after Amakhosi’s 1-0 defeat to Amazulu in the Carling Knockout Cup on Saturday.

The outraged Glamour Boys threw missiles at now-dismissed coach Molefi Ntseki following an early exit from the Carling KO Cup, dimming any further hopes for silverware in eight years.

Chiefs are set to appear before the PSL DC on 31 October.

It's the third time Amakhosi will face the DC this year, while it’s the second time in the new season.

PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu had also warned that the fans might be locked out of the stadium if they repeated the offence.
