JOHANNESBURG - Can Norma Plummer win South Africa the netball world cup on home soil?
That’s one of the big questions as the Australian coach has been roped in by a seemingly rattled Netball South Africa, just eight months to the start of the tournament.
Plummer is managing any expectations of success, saying the lack of time to prepare could count against the Proteas.
"Winning the World Cup is a big ask. I had four years buildup last time to get us into playing Australia in that game that we only lost by two goals," she said.
"I have about eight months and I've got to fit in what I can there."
