Pitso Mosimane appointed Abha Club head coach

JOHANNESBURG - Pitso Mosimane has been appointed as the new head coach of Abha Club.

Mosimane's return to Saudi Arabia was confirmed by his agency, MT Sports Marketing and Management, on Friday.

The former Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns mentor has signed a short-term deal until the end of the season.

He faces a tough task steering Abha Club away from the relegation zone. They sit 17th in the Roshn League.

The 59-year-old is no stranger to Saudi Arabian football, having been in charge of Al-Ahli between 2022 and 2023.
