Mama Joy denies millions are spent on her sponsored trips

BLOEMFONTEIN - Superfan Mama Joy Chauke has hit out at Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie, who's threatened to stop all trips for superfans. 

The Patriotic Alliance leader wrote on social media last week that taxpayers' money should be used wisely.

He said the emphasis must be on assisting athletes and artists who are struggling to raise money to attend sporting events and exhibitions.

Mama Joy says some expenses are covered by sponsors while the rest comes out of her pocket.
