JOHANNESBURG - Mamelodi Sundowns’ Themba Zwane has made his way back into the national team as Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced the squad for the upcoming international friendlies.
Bafana Bafana will face Sierra Leone on 24 September before welcoming Botswana on 27 September at the FNB Stadium.
The Brazilians’ midfielder, Zwane, has been a hot topic recently following his snubs from the national team.
Percy Tau is notably absent while Kaizer Chiefs’, Kgaogelo Sekgotha, made the squad.
The 23-man squad is made up of five players plying their trades overseas, namely, Thibang Phete who plays for AL Bataeh FC in the UAE, and Sphephelo Sithole who is with Portugal’s Belenenses.
Luke le Roux, Lyle Foster and Mihlali Mayambela are also part of the pick.
