From goalkeeper to pro basketball for South Sudanese star

JOHANNESBURG - Lual Akuei only took up basketball four years ago, having had a prior career as a football goalkeeper.

Now the South Sudanese pro is making waves in his newly chosen sport, in the Basketball Africa League.

He's represented teams in Senegal, Uganda and Rwanda and follows in the footsteps of the famous Manute Bol, who played in the NBA.
