In-form Relebohile Mofokeng scored his maiden goal on the hour mark, before Jayden Adams also grabbed a first goal for his country four minutes later to secure victory for the hosts.
Bafana Bafana have an opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the group, when they play against second placed Benin on Tuesday.
