JOHANNESBURG - Mamelodi Sundowns return to domestic football on Tuesday with a league clash against Richards Bay FC at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The Brazilians are fresh from the CAF Champions League where they walloped Belouizdad of Algeria 4-1 in the quarterfinal first-leg clash over the past weekend.
The DStv Premiership champions though have not won in their last four league matches and in the process recorded back-to-back draws since being crowned as this season’s league winners.
With four league matches remaining for them, if they get maximum points they will get to 74 points.
That would beat their own 30-game record of 71 set in 2015/16.
Sundowns have won 11 of their 13 home games so far this campaign, so remain on course to beat a mark they jointly hold.
