PIETERMARITZBURG - The Democratic Alliance in Msunduzi Local Municipality has submitted a notice of motion calling for the municipality to terminate the R27-million sponsorship for Royal AM football club.
This comes amid the club's legal woes which include being placed under curatorship by SARS.
Msunduzi DA councillor, Reggie Khanyile, says the municipality cannot afford to be associated with a club involved in legal battles.
