Continental glory for Sundowns Ladies

JOHANNESBURG - Mamelodi Sundowns continue to enjoy a golden spell of success.

The Sundowns ladies are champions of Africa for the second time.

Downs dominated their Caf Women's Champions League final against SC Casablanca.

The match was played in the north of the Ivory Coast.

Botswana international Refilwe Tholakele scored twice in Downs' 3 - nil win.

It was sweet redemption for Sundowns, who suffered humiliation in last year's final.

Captain Zanale Nhlapo, who was sent off in that match, was able to lift the continental crown this time.
