Conrad, Walter appointed Proteas coaches

JOHANNESBURG - Rob Walters and Shukri Conrad have been appointed as Proteas coaches.

Conrad will lead the team in Test cricket while Walters mentors the ODI and T20 cricket.

56-year-old Conrad had reasonable success at the Franchise level, winning four trophies with the two teams.

Conrad also had a stint with the Lions before taking up other local coaching opportunities.

Walters' success was at the Titans were he won three trophies in three seasons before moving to New Zealand.
