PIETERMARITZBURG - The Comrades Marathon board held a special general meeting last week where it addressed several issues that have plagued the organisation.
Vote rigging, mis-use of funds and allegations of racism were the contentious matters on the agenda.
The CMA has now appointed an independent body to investigate.
CMA General Manager Mqondisi Ngcobo has promised to make the findings of the independent probe available to the public once the investigation is concluded.
