Boks await Mbonambi investigation

PARIS - Springbok hooker Bongi Mbonambi is waiting with bated breath to hear his fate.

World Rugby has confirmed it will review accusations that he made a racial slur against England's Tom Curry.

Curry said the 32-year-old made racist remarks during their semi-final clash at Stade de France.

The Sale Sharks player seemingly reported the incident to referee Ben O'Keeffe.

SA Rugby is also conducting its own investigation.

The defending champions face arch rivals the All Blacks in Saturday's grand final.
