AUCKLAND - The Springbok Women ended their 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup in a defeat as top-ranked England outplayed them in New Zealand.
It was a tough day for Stanley Raubenheimer and his charges.
The rampant English women and a superb mauling from line-outs saw them bag five tries in the first half to lead by 29-0.
This after too many penalties conceded by Raubenheimer’s side, allowing England to kick to the corners.
The onslaught continued into the second half as they lost 53-0 after 60 minutes before sealing the clash 75-0.
