WATCH | SA franchises to face stiff tests in European assignments

JOHANNESBURG - South African franchises are set to face some stiff tests in their respective European assignments this weekend.

The Stormers have to negotiate past European Champions Cup holders La Rochelle.

The Cape side are at home for this clash, while the Bulls are out in France to take on Lyon on Saturday.

There is also some action for the South African side in the EPCR Challenge Cup, where the Lions lock horns with England's Newcastle, with the Sharks meeting the Cheetahs in a local derby on Sunday.
