Manhunt launched after killing Gugulathu CPF member
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are searching for suspects involved in the assassination of Deputy Chairperson of the Gugulethu Community Policing Forum, Lulama Dinginto.
It's alleged that a well-known criminal is behind the murder.
She was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning while asleep at home.
Dinginto has been described as a dedicated community servant and leader who gave so much of herself to make our world a better place.
The Western Cape Provincial Community Police Board has called on the SAPS to activate their 72 hour-plan, and spare no efforts to find the perpetrators.
The board has raised concerns about targeted killings of members, particularly in Cape Town.
