Christmas Stokvel Scam – Free State residents, believed to be in their thousands, were swindled, this Christmas, by the mastermind of a grocery “Stokvel” that failed to pay out.
Its mastermind, 29-year-old Lebohang Mokatedi, disappeared with his 19-year old girlfriend and his elderly clients’ monies.
