JOHANNESBURG - Budget changes aimed at improving tax collection, giving priority to essential services, and addressing the city's economic issues have been adopted by the Johannesburg Council.
At Monday's 25th Extra-Ordinary Council Meeting, the changes to capital and operating expenditure were successfully approved.
A majority vote of 184 in favour and 39 against approved the resolutions.
