JOHANNESBURG - The Department of Basic Education says is doing it is part to develop a framework to force a decrease in bullying incidences at schools.
A law trying to prevent bullying suggests children as young at ten can be jailed.
Children can also apply for a protection order against their tormentors without the involvement of parents or guardians.
Basic Education spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga, says the department is doing its
part to a larger societal problem.
