JOHANNESBURG - Action Society says an Auditor General Report shows how dismally the police service is failing South Africans.
The AG report on the South African Police Service or SAPS was discussed by the Portfolio Committee of police on Wednesday.

The report shows that a shortage of police officer and mass resignations from detective and intelligence services means many cases go unsolved.
This at a time when South Africa is becoming a hotspot for extortion and crime levels continue to soar.
