JOHANNESBURG - Nearly five million of the country's 20 million children are starving.
That's according to the latest state of the South African Child report by the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

The report has highlighted the increased challenges faced by the country's youngest and most vulnerable.
It's called for poverty alleviation, improved healthcare services, and protection from violence among other issues.
