SONA 2024 | What to expect from President Ramaphosa

DURBAN - President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver his State of the Nation Address on Thursday evening.

We also celebrate three decades of a democratic Parliament.

This is the final SONA of the current five-year parliamentary term.

The opposition is hoping this will be Ramaphosa's last one.

New parties have risen and coalitions formed to challenge the governing ANC.

Political analyst Zamokuhle Mbandlwa said, in his view, the SONAs have lost support from the public.

Mbandlwa says the ANC-led government will use SONA to grandstand about its achievements.
