New parliamentary rules prohibit interruptions
PARLIAMENT - Stricter rules have been put in place ahead of the State of the Nation Address on Thursday evening.
It means no member can interrupt the President while he is speaking.
No other issues will be able to be raised through the often used 'point of order'.
Presiding officers have been quick to point out the new rules are not aimed at any specific party.
The EFF has previously been ejected from Parliament for causing disruptions.
