JOHANNESBURG - The Save South Africa Civic Movement says the proposal to rename Sandton Drive is simply playing politics.

The City of Johannesburg proposed naming the road after Palestinian political activist Leila Khaled.
The move is widely seen as a way to snub the United States, with their Consulate in Johannesburg being on the road.
Last year, William Nicol Drive was renamed Winnie Mandela Drive after the anti-apartheid activist and politician.
It has asked the public to submit their comments within 28 days.
