JOHANNESBURG - The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation falls under the Presidency and is headed by Maropene Ramokgopa.

During his announcement of new faces under the Government of National Unity, President Cyril Ramaphosa said Ramokgopa would also overlook State Owned Enterprises.
This meant the department of Public Enterprises would no longer exist.
Minister Ramokgopa discussed the department and some programmes she is working on, chief among those the amended SOE Bill.
