Critics pan proposed energy plan
JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's proposed Integrated Energy Plan has received a thumbs down from experts.
The long-awaited draft was released for public comment this week.
In it, government tries to show how electricity supply and demand will be balanced until 2050.
Energy experts say the document lacks clarity and fails to give comprehensive details, on how the country will rid itself of rolling blackouts.
Energy expert Chris Yelland is one of those not entirely convinced.
He spoke with eNCA.
