JOHANNESBURG - The Phala Phala saga continues to haunt President Cyril Ramaphosa after the EFF brought an application before the Constitutional Court.
The party is seeking to set aside Parliament’s decision not to refer Ramaphosa to an impeachment committee over the Phala Phala saga.

The EFF and the second applicant the ATM want the court to declare the 2022 decision not to adopt an independent panel’s report irrational and unlawful.
A Section 89 panel headed by former chief justice Sandile Ncqobo found Ramaphosa had a prima facie case to answer.
