National Health Insurance Sama to pursue legal action
JOHANNESBURG - The SA Medical Association is gearing up to pursue legal action to challenge the National Health Insurance rollout.
The association says the country’s ailing healthcare system will negatively impact the NHI’s efficacy.
Following parliament’s approval in December, the bill has been referred to the president to sign into act.
At the same time, SAMA is holding a three-day conference tackling issues plaguing the healthcare industry.
