National Health Insurance NCOP passes NHI Bill 1
JOHANNESBURG - The National Council of Provinces has passed the NHI Bill.
It seeks to realise universal health coverage for all. This means that every South African will have the right to access comprehensive healthcare services free of charge at accredited health facilities, such as clinics, hospitals, and private health practitioners.
Chairperson of the South African Medical Association, Dr Mvuyisi Mzukwa spoke about this with eNCA.
