JOHANNESBURG - A lack of service delivery is one reason the City of Johannesburg's credit rating has been downgraded. That's according to economist, Professor Bonke Dumisa.
He says America has also been downgraded, but that's different.
Dumisa said, "downgrading is not necessarily the worst thing the city has experienced."
"In the case of Johannesburg metro, what makes it worst is not just the question of some of the global constraints of inflations but they also have a problem with their own service delivery which intends triggers the endless service delivery protest which affects the economy but worse still is the part of inadequate collection."
