Israel Palestine conflict Moves to review SA US ties
JOHANNESBURG - A proposed bill in the US will require the administration there to examine whether South Africa is undermining US security and foreign policy interests.
Republican John James and Democrat Jared Moscowit say South Africa is siding with "malign actors" on the international stage.
The Bill threatens South Africa's prospects of benefitting from the African Growth and Opportunity Act.
There are moves afoot to review bilateral relations between Washington and Pretoria.
This comes in the wake of the Pretoria-led genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
Former Ambassador and Chief of State Protocol, Dr Kingsley Makhubela, who is now a director of RiskRecon, discussed the situation with eNCA.
