JOHANNESBURG - It's been another week marred by shootings in Gauteng.
Four people were gunned down in Jeppestown and five others were killed in Soshanguve.
Willem Els from the Institute for Security Studies believes the country needs to overhaul its strategy for combating gun violence.
"South Africa for 30 years we've had a strategy on guns, how to curb guns and how to manage them. Clearly, that has failed," he said.
