JOHANNESBURG - Some controversial characters were sworn in as members of parliament on Tuesday.
Former sport, arts and culture minister, Zizi Kodwa, took the oath as a member of the ANC.
At the same time 58 members of uMkhonto weSizwe, who boycotted the first sitting of parliament, were sworn in, including impeached former Western Cape Judge President, John Hlophe.
It comes as the ANC and DA are trying to find each other ahead of the announcement of cabinet members by the President.
